i get what you mean, apart of the joy of art creation is knowing there are people liking your work, so not getting much feed back from it can really drain the motivation levels a bit

There are worse accounts to keep as your sole accounts than Newgrounds-accounts, and the way you describe your situation elsewhere makes it sound as if you did not lose much. I had a quick look at your recent works and it certainly looks above average, but maybe you were uploading for the wrong crowds. Depending on what community you are trying to cater to, there might be sites out there that would receive you and your works more warmly.
